The first fishing trips of the season have been completed. There have been a number of days with south-westerly strong winds which have forced us to fish in shelter inside the fjord. These trips have resulted in cod and coalfish up to 10kg. Once the weather have been good and we have been able to fish further out around the big drop offs, we have had really good fishing with big cod, coalfish and a few halibuts. However we are still waiting for the first big halibuts. One of the days we did taget wolffish and got fish up to 8kg. Unfortunately it looks like there will be a few days of south-westerly gale again, hopefully we get better weather again next week.
